Apple Picker
A small coding project I did to get ahold of some coding.
Original Tutorial supplied by Jeremy Bond's "Introduction to Game Design Prototyping and Development"
Enhancements I Worked on:
First, I made a 2D background for the game in Photoshop, then I recreated all the assets for the models in 3D, such as the apple, trunk, leaves, and baskets (I swear the baskets are 3D even if they look flat), then I also added my own music made in BeepBox. I also attempted to brute force making green apples spawn by doubling the script in the Apple Tree menu, and instead of spawning green apples and red apples, it just made a small pause appear during movement that I actually quite liked so I kept it (Hoping it won't cause any problems though). I also messed around with a LOT of numbers, such as the drop rate, speed, positions, and much more, and turned off the colliders on the tree so it would stop bumping the apples.
